Non-Profits
Fundraising Workshop for Non-Profits
The purpose of this workshop is to increase major gifts from benefactors through the efforts of your organization’s staff and volunteers. The workshop will identify each individual’s strengths, build their confidence and provide practical skills for immediate application. The end game is to persuade and influence donors to give more– rather than simply to educate or inform them about your non-profit organization.
The Power of Giving
This workshop for up to 10 individuals will be led by two trainers. Effective trainings are built on interactive exercises and being “up on your feet” as much as possible. Therefore, each of the individuals will be called on to fully participate. Also, the group setting allows participants to receive feedback from both the trainers and their colleagues, in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The workshop will be divided into two half days, spaced approximately one month apart. Between the two sessions, the participants commit to and are held accountable for attending at least two networking meetings, donor meetings or social functions where they utilize their new skills. Also, between the two sessions, participants are encouraged to email or phone the trainers for support.
